On November 15th, from 10:00 to 13:00 in Warsaw, Poland, we hosted a multiplier event as part of the AWARE project with 51 participants, which included both students and HEI staff. This final conference served as a platform to showcase the project’s objectives, key outcomes, and tools designed for higher education staff and students.
The event opened with an official welcome and an introduction to the conference theme, followed by presentations from partner organizations in Poland, Cyprus, Ireland, Spain, and Greece. Each partner highlighted their contributions to the project, emphasizing collaborative efforts to support mental health awareness in higher education.
Dedicated sessions explored the core outcomes of the AWARE project, including the Capacity Building Activities, the Awareness Raising Handbook, and the AWARE Connecting and Experience Sharing e-learning space. These presentations provided a comprehensive overview of the innovative resources developed to equip higher education staff with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to effectively mentor students on mental health awareness.
Later in the event, participants engaged in an interactive workshop, Mental Health Case Studies: Engaging Panel Discussion.
