Our online meeting in February 2024
February 16, 2024

On the 12th of February project partners, in a monthly online meeting, summarised current activities and planned the next steps for the project.

In January/February, partners consulted the content of the Mental Health Awareness Handbook in Higher Education with mental health experts and key stakeholders -university staff, public policy makers, students- to review the document.

27 people from all partner countries shared their comments. The partners prepared an evaluation report and made suggested changes to the content of the document. The partners are currently translating the handbook. Once finalised, SRC will design the Handbook for widespread dissemination.

Another outcome of the project, in which an e-learning platform dedicated to academic staff will be developed and training will be provided to improve the knowledge and skills of academic staff in mental health care, was also the subject of lively discussion during the meeting.

The final stage of the implementation of this outcome will be activities with students. Traditionally, the meeting also discussed project management, dissemination of results and quality assurance.
